Yordanos Abay.

I am an electronics and communication engineer, but at my core, I am a problem solver who refuses to accept limits. I've always been drawn to the hardest challenges, the ones that require tangible hardware to force a change.

Right now, I am leading FT Agritech to solve a devastating inefficiency in agriculture: the massive, quiet loss of crops to wildlife, weather instability, and disease. We are fusing predictive AI with embedded hardware to engineer a completely new physical response to protect the harvest.

I love looking at a problem the world has accepted as "normal" and building the exact machine required to make it obsolete. I don't care about hypothetical prototypes; I care about building technology that steps into the real world and actually works.

Hardware & Embedded Solutions
At FT Agritech we design the physical layers of engineering solutions built to survive outside the lab. We train models that give that hardware a brain for real-time threat detection. We build the logic that allows field systems to recognize patterns, predict risks, and trigger physical responses instantly, without human intervention.

A brilliant circuit board doesn't change an industry on its own. We build solutions that solve the real pain of the communities that feed us, aligning our work with long-term technological policies. I comfortably lead teams through today's dynamic and diverse tech landscape, to be in the right place at the right time.

Understand before you build
I immerse myself entirely in the mechanics of a problem. I spend the time required to map out every variable and understand the underlying physics before I even begin to architect a solution.

Navigating Ambiguity
Working without a blueprint
I do my best work when the blueprint doesn't exist yet. I am highly comfortable operating in the unknown and trusting my engineering fundamentals to find the path forward.

Grounded Engineering
Designed for the field, not the lab
I anchor my entire design process in the physical world. I visualize exactly how a system will be handled, dropped, and used in the field, and I engineer the hardware for that exact reality.

Keeping the work moving
I lead by maintaining a clear, undisturbed view of the final objective. My focus is always on removing technical bottlenecks, keeping the team aligned, and ensuring the work is constantly moving forward.
